POROUS CERAMIC ROD FOR pH ELECTRODE
As the core component of the salt bridge/liquid junction in pH combination electrodes and reference electrodes, the porous ceramic wick undertakes the key functions of electrolyte permeation, stable liquid-junction potential, and isolation of contaminated media. It directly determines the electrode's measurement accuracy, response speed, and service life.
Depending on the glass material used, there are alumina and zirconia ceramic wicks (with different expansion coefficients), which match the glass material and avoid cracking during welding.
